The activities of the 2008 parade were as fun and exciting as ever. The now traditional OpenMic/Poetry Slam demonstrated the talent and in some cases courage of people of our community. Our Parade Marshal, Tony Coelho, joined us and encouraged us with his words. We listened and watched many beautiful poems, stories. This year WBEZ Radio captured part of the the Slam on tape and published it on their web site.
